Andreas Kallavazides Ltd has been combing traditional know-how and cutting edge technology since its creation. Founded by Andreas Kalavazides in 1970, the company began with a small assembly line at the center of Limassol with a focus on interior Blinds. In 1975, Andreas Kalavazides following his company's success decided to rename it to Gold Star! The assembly line moved into private premises. It was not much longer before continuing with expansion that the assembly line turned into a manufacturing unit, with the adition of rolling shutters production in 1983. Following demand, due to the development boom in the housing industry of Cyprus, the company introduced in 1992 to its product line Garage doors. Growth and success due to its excellent quality products and after sales service brought the company, to be the first supplier of external Venetian blinds by 1996. Following closely to his father’s footsteps Stelios Kalavazides who grew up in his fathers factory, decides to bring back the traditional name of the company, honoring its founder, Andreas. With renewed dynamism and commitment to the principles which brought success, Stelios established Kalavazides Blinds & Shutters as one of the largest suppliers on the island
