Marion Carter qualified as a solicitor in 1995 having completed her legal studies at Southampton University and the College of Law in London. Marion continued her legal training with one of the leading law firms in Dorset and, having developed an interest in the area of Private Client work, moved to one of the firm’s branch offices where she was a Partner and responsible for the Wills and Probate department. Marion relocated to Cyprus in 2003 and was the first foreign qualified lawyer to be registered as a practising lawyer with the Cyprus Bar Association under the EU Directive. Marion continues to hold a current practising certificate issued by the Law Society of England & Wales in addition to her licence issued by the Cyprus Bar Association. Marion has prepared many hundreds of Wills for clients both in Cyprus and the United Kingdom. Since practising on the Island from 2003 Marion has also gained a wealth of experience in dealing with Cypriot law in the areas of probate, administration of estates and property matters.
