The beginning in Stasicratous Street In 1982, ‘Papageorgiou & Papapetrou Clinic’ started providing both outpatient and inpatient services, based in Stasicratous Street in Nicosia. Dr Papageorgiou and Dr Papapetrou provided specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology services, supported by Dr Boika Papageorgiou, specialist anaesthetist and paediatrician and Dr Uta Papapetrou, specialist general practitioner. By focusing on providing excellent service and building a relationship based on trust with patients, the workload increased rapidly and the partnership proved to be a success within 2-3 years. As a result, the space available in the clinic proved inadequate to fulfil the clinic’s workload.
