University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus)

Following the granting of an initial academic license by the Ministry of Education & Culture and the Government of Cyprus, we are proud to announce the establishment of the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). UCLan Cyprus, the only British University in Cyprus, will operate in Larnaka (Pyla area) as of 2 October 2012, offering premium British Higher Education. All courses will meet the quality standards required by both the Cyprus Ministry of Education & Culture and the UK Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). Local students will thus gain access to British Higher Education at home, with the choice of studying their programme entirely in Cyprus or transferring for part of their studies to the UK. Our courses will also be evaluated by the Evaluation Committee of Private Universities (ECPU). UCLan Cyprus offers subjects in Law, Business (with specialisations in business administration, business & management, business information systems, and international business communication), Accounting and Finance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Mathematics and Computing (with specialisations in software engineering, computer games development and computer network technologies), MBA, and MA TESOL with Applied Linguistics.
